Continuing the practice of incorporating regional elements into the interior design of VMware field offices, DWA’s design team explored mixing materials and finishes to capture local imagery. Inspired by the proximity of the Rocky Mountains, the western prairie, and Denver’s city skyline, the design juxtaposed rustic materials such as reclaimed wood against sleek metropolitan finishes throughout the office spaces. The design strategy also enabled DWA to insert and identify fun, welcoming collaborative spaces throughout the high-density floor plate by introducing vibrant colors in a field of neutral-colored workstations.
